Arline had always thought Ascalon was beneith her. So when it was attacked by the Char, she took the oppertunity to high tail it to Kryta. Making sparce friends along the way, she snubbed her nose at most people in need, feeling that her powers weren't worth waisting on those who couldn't pay her price.
