My name was once "Matt" as most would like to call me. Full name was "Matthew Ryan Blankenship" but I went by Matt among the people of Paragon City and my family. I used to be a normal person like you! Untill I discovered I had Super Powers... That is. The first powers that came to me was the ability to manipulate the element of Fire in any way I wanted to and the physical ability of Super Strength to a certain extent. No, I was not as powerful ( Physically ) as Superman or Darkseid but I was powerful enough to perhaps rival Lord Recluse or even Statesman. However, having those powers came with a price as almost all things seem to do. Using my powers of Fire and Super Strength, I started to enjoy beating the crap out of Thugs and Villains the more I was sent on missions and street sweeping. If I was mad, I would go and beat up some Villains to calm myself down. If I was depressed, I would go beat up some Thugs to make me feel better. You get where I'm going with that. So and so month's later, I come to find out that it isn't actually ME that's enjoying this punishment. It's a little evil spirit inside of me that was making me enjoy all of this and it was growing the more I fought and the more I understood my powers. When it grew strong enough, it even began taking control over my body when I was angered or depressed. Even physically altering my appearrance to that of a demonic being. For month's after that when I would team up with my brother ( Kyle ) and the other usual Super Heroes that I was friends with, I would try my BEST to hold that demon back.
