| 1 Year Since becoming EQ2 staff... |

Wow it is hard to believe it was a year ago that thejeni was kind enough to give me the chance to see what I could do with the EQ2 section and with help from my fellow staffers here, the developers and of course the Gameamp users we got this place back on the map. One year is a great benchmark and this is a good time to take stock of things. I think GameAmp has lots of potential and I would love to see it prosper.

| Wow time sure gets away. Well it has been months since I added anything to this but here goes. Lots of good things going on here with the EQ2 section and in real life trying to manage 3 major transtions. In real life my support group is moving from Novell networking to Microsoft, changing mail clients and servers from Groupwise to Outlook, and for icing on the cake we have been using an in house application to manage our static ip system but now we are moving to an off the shelf .mil grade product and customizing it to support reverse dns look and ip6. Oh yes and how to move 1600 users from Office 2003 to 2007 on short notice taking in to consideration end user comfort with the new style applications and a minimial tech staff availability. Hmmm I think I need to win a major Texas Hold em poker match and retire early. Ok nice fantasy right. Ok back to work. :P |

| Boy this is going to be a tough month as it is one of my busiest at work so not getting to check GameAmp much and to boot EQ2 is rockin and Vanguard is coming out. My body has filed an injunction with my brain disallowing all attempts and further sleep deprivation so what is a sick gamer to do? Well, just got grind this month out is all and hope for the calm to come in February. |

Oooo Going to be on the road for the holidays and away from the computer almost a week will I survive the EQ2, Guild, and GameAmp withdrawls? Will see next week! Happy holiday's readers. Not even a computer to tap on. :)

Well I have enjoyed things being slow at work and being able to pop on here a lot but until the semester ends probably going to be pretty busy and not get my GameAmp fix as much as I would like. Not going to stop me from keeping at it though gotta get my fix at least once a day.
Oh boy already thinking about how nice the week between Christmas and New Year's will be. |

| Congratulations on reaching level two on the EQ2 site. It must be a good feeling to be no longer a Commoner (like me). I remember the euphoria I felt when I no longer was a 'doormat sidekick' on the COH site. |
