Blank's real name was Cora van der Haag, a very cheerful and gifted foreign exchange student from the Netherlands. Innocent and ignorant as she was, she wanted to see the beautiful sites of Paragon City. With an old tourist guide in hand she went to Perez Park. After only five minutes she was welcomed by a group of skulls. She tried to run, but it was too late, and she was taken to one of the abandoned offices nearby. For the months (years?) that followed she was the personal toy of the local bone daddy. Slowly but surely he managed to drain all life out of her, until she was nothing more than a walking shell. But then things started to change. Because she lost all concepts of her previous life, she started to learn and secretly mimic his powers. The process was slow, but time stopped having any meaning. One day she decided she had learned enough, so she destroyed him, and walked out. But her nightmare did not end there. She simply could not fit in with society anymore. Her blank expression freaked people out. This only made here even more seclusive. Then she found out that the only time some life is left in her, is when she used the powers from the man that destroyed her. Maybe one day she will get her name back. But for now she is just a blank.
