Game History Profile: Fire Bug XI Fire Bug XI Level 50 Hybrid Blaster City of Heroes New England Knights Virtue Server Accomplishments Wooooooooot! My First level 50 Started Feb 2006 and Finished June 2007(only took a year and a half) 12/9/07 Origin Once an infamous arsonist for a local Paragon City gang, he ascended among the ranks to earn is title The Fire Bug I which at that time was the highest among the arsonists in the gang. It was during a job his boss decided they needed some extra leverage and introduced to three of his arsonists a substance known to them only as "juice" after taking the injections all three of them noticed that they had an uncanny ability not only to create the fire but manipulate it as well. The three continued taking the injections without reguard of side affects until the one known as Fire Bug VII died. At that moment the others were sceptacle and Fire Bug I stopped taking the injections however not to be out done Fire Bug II continued to take the "Juice" injections and was transformed into a hideous monster. Though Fire Bug I Stopped the injections there were still changes to his physiological makeup that now could not be undone. It wasn't untill he sought the refuge of his father and sister and was shunned away in fear did he realize the consequences of his actions, and what a true horror he had become. Partly out of vengence, but mostly out of seeking acceptance back with his family he took up the mantle of Fire Bug XI and brought his entire old gang to justice, with the exception of Fire Bug II, who's whereabouts are still unknown. Then confessed to what he had done. The judicial system labeling him as a troubled youth was ready to lock him up and throw away the key until one stood up and protested. The New England Knight impressed with the fact that instead of running Fire Bug XI was willing to face the consequences of his actions head on, protested for Fire Bug XI to mentor with himself. The court not easily swayed finally granted Fire Bug XI amnesty for his past deeds if he would agree to become The New England Knight's apprentice. Reluctantly he agreed, feeling more as though he should be locked away as not to cause anymore harm. Super Group Origin After a couple of years of side kicking his mentor Fire Bug XI learned that he could not only use his powers for destruction but could also use them to create. Create a since of security in the citizens of Paragon. It was then that he realized he had been given a second chance and that he would hold true to his cause at all costs. It was sometime after this on a mission set out by Numina, that his mentor was mortally wounded and died. Fire Bug XI swore to uphold all of his mentor's beliefs and fashioned a Super Group after his mentor The New England Knight. The New England Knights was created with one thing in mind to give heroes with a lower Security level help and guidance as was done to him, by his mentor. It is still a small Super Group but it is expanding.
