| FBE (Factions Beta Event) - Day 1. |

Well, first impressions "Wow, this is awesome". I played it for hours, doing the quests, killing everything. Running around the map with my guild mates. But then once you start to get further, you just wonder why your doing all this. Then when you realise your guild is the opposite Faction and you've being doing the wrong one, you tend to start to give up.
I started to play as the Kurzick's. They're an ugly bunch who wear ugly clothes. But their quests are pretty dang easy and there are loads of them. As we got further we stopped. Went back, tried to enter PvP. Couldn't find anyone because I think we got there too quick, which wasn't really the game's fault but eliminated 1 thing for us to do other than run around. Then we disovered the 12v12 area. First Impressions. OH MY GOD! It really was something cool, especially when you realise there are 12 people in your party instead of 8. Shame you can only enter in groups of 4 though... Had a game. Won it. Then tried again and again, it was fun. But if your team get 1 point behind the other, expect your team to leave the game. It ruined it because your winning, then your teams are even, then you start to lose and BANG! everyone is gone from your party, thus, your dead. Well, was fun but it's hard to stand people leaving so much. Then, our guild got it's Faction finally. I really wanted to steal a town! >:D
The Luxons', our guild chose. And I was doing the Kurzick quests! Which means I got 6K Kurzick faction, making me a Kurzick player, meaning the Luxon's hated me. And, i'd pretty much have to start everything again. In the end, I did about 1 Luxon quest. Then got bored because the Luxon quests are really long and quite hard. Thus ending my PvE adventure so far. Although the graphics were nice, the new pets and monsters were nice etc.
My last thing was looking at all the new skills. Well. I'm not impressed. There are some new good one's. And 90% of them are just re-makes of previous skills. Monks being a good example. There are about 10 different skills to heal the area your in. They're all different but the same thing. I was expecting something new, something really cool. But it's just what I already have...
In conclusion to my first tiring day of FBE. I don't really feel like I want to buy Factions. It's defiently not as good as Prophecies it would seem, and it's not as fun, also, it's much more confusing. You think your getting 1 game out of it but the way I see it. It's half a game if you choose Luxons or Half a game if you choose Kurzick. The new skills are mainly bad as they're just re-makes of other skills although some are good. After playing this today, is it better than Propechies? No. Would I buy it? Possibly. Even with all this, the end result isn't this. This is only a Beta Event and possibly not even half of what should be expected in the full thing. Although, I really think if your to choose between Factions and Prophecies. Go for Prophecies. |

Well, I havnt added a blog in a long time and I might aswell do one now :) So here I go...
Well, I feel like I was the only person that remembered and couldn't wait for Observer mode at all! I thought it was coming with Chapter 2. Though, when it first came out, y'know the first 2 odd days it was great. Now all I ever hear are people swearing at each other, calling teams and people noobs for no reason. I dunno if its just me, but I think they will get rid of Obersever mode because people abuse it. I have been waiting to watch [EW] (Esoteric Warriors) to GvG. When saying this to others they just say "Who are they?" I guess its because I have been playing longer than them when [EW] used to take the halls everyday. It seems that they arnt going to GvG until the World Championships though as they havnt GvGed since it came out (and they usually GvG everyday!) Good times...

After trying for ages I finally went Rank 3 today!
You wanna know whats really surprising? I didnt use IWAY! Thats right! Infact, I beat many IWAY teams with my air spiker team I made.
I owned Koreans, Americans, Guild and IWAY today which has finally made me Rank 3. Cant wait to show it off to the guildies :D |
