The Gates Assassin
Her story
The Gates Assassin, or Gates as she is called now was born in Tsumei Village. She was one of the top assassins being trained in the monestary at the time, next to Nika and Surviving Sin. She choose to be an assassin after one night when both her parents were killed. The assassin got away, no one saw him, no one knew he came. Discluding Gates. From that day, she vowed for revenge and became an assassin in training.
After the Plaque hit cantha and she vanquished Shiro, alone, she went to Elona. There she found new information about the assassin. His name was Lou. She met new friends, and eventually saved Elona from destruction.
She then joined her first guild, The Keepers of the Gate [Gate]. There she truly enhanced her skills. She even came up with her own signature skill, Blades of Steel. The Guild was under constant attack and King JBB, the leader, ordered for her soldiers to fight. Her, along with the Staff of JBB helf off the attack, thus naming Gates, the Gates Assassin.
In a long attempt to try to find Lou, she finally got what she had been waiting for for a long time. Surviving sin stopped her in Tannakai Temple. He told her he had recieved a letter to give to Gates. It was signed by "Lou, Of the Knives". She opened the letter. It said to come to Shenzun Tunnels at 9 and to come alone. It described a pit where they would meet.
Surviving Sin asked what the letter said, but Gates refused to tell him. She left the Temple and headed towards the tunnels. They were flooded with gaurds, but she ran by. Down in the tunnels, Lou met Gates face to face for the first time in over 12.

Couldn't help but see that you love the assassin as much as me. I'm in a guild that test lots of assassin builds. I made the Vigor Assassin build on guildwiki and couldn't help that you posted a similiar one on gameamp on 10/02/06. I run an AoD version now, resembles a Hotstepper. I'm also a Legendary Survivor assassin, and wanted to know how you were doing on that? I used Golden Phoenix Strike, Horns of the Ox, Falling Spider, Twisting Fangs, Flashing Blades, Vigorous Spirit, Healing Breeze, and Rebirth to get the title. No shadow stepping really on the early stage 'til I got Aura of Displacement. I replaced Flashing Blades with AoD and got the current build I've been running now.
This was the build I was used for AB but didn't want Luxons to know what I've been using. So I posted a 2nd build of Vigor that I had to come up that would be just as efficient but not as efficient as the one I made to get the title. So I posted the one on wiki and the build got favored surprisingly :-). Now that faction is coming up, I posted the build I was using on the discussion page.
I like your efforts on your build, one of my friend's creativity came as far as an A/R Melandru's Resilence Assassin... very efficent. High Damage and long periods of surviving make the best assassin. Shadowstepping is only what makes us deadlier :-).

Hey, I love sins also (my main character) but Ive reached a mental wall Im my build making. I seemingly cant find a good build that includes the elite "Hidden Caltrops", if you have a build, or possible any advice, please let me know :)
