| Backstory |
Alatar gazed up at the spires of Silvermoon and stroked the fur of his pet Lynx. His sword and bow lay light on his back, but he was bowed down as if a great weight lay upon his shoulders, a great weight of memories unforgettable. Years ago he had stood with the defenders of the Sunwell in full armor, his arrow nocked securely on the silver filament of his bowstring. But he had been consumed with terror and fled as the Death Knight Arthas swept all before him. Alatar had refused to aid the Human Alliance, defying Prince Kael'Thas' command. The Prince spared his life, as Alatar's words stirred a longing in his soul for justice. Alatar could not follow his Prince to Outland then, but still dreams of that blessed day. Until then, he shuns company of all those who are not warriors, save his pet, often his sole companion.
