Ex-M.A.G.I. Field Operative, Marik Rodgan, was recruited by the Draconis Corporation for his work in physio-incendiary resonance dynamics. Marik and his team were sent to investigate a mysterious artifact which appeared in Perez Park. The artifact was in fact an Ancient Talisman which was covered in what appeared to be cosmic arcane hieroglyphs. Before being able to cast a containment spell, the Talisman engulfed Marik and his team in an aura of power. After reporting the incident, the CEO of the Draconis Corp. realized what had happened, revealed that he was actually a Dragon, and informed Marik that an ancient Dragon prophecy had just been fulfilled, that the Talisman had endowed Marik and his team with the magi-force known as the ‘Dragonsurge’. Marik would now be able to harness Fire itself and wield spells to manipulate heat and flame. The Dragons had watched over man-kind for millennia, now our hero would have to uphold the value of Liberty in their name, as the Hero. . Dragonstryke !
