Ex-Longbow Field Operative, Marik Rodgan, was recruited by the Draconis Corporation for his work in generalized physio-emotive manifestation. Marik and his team were assigned to research an ancient tome supposedly tied to the ancestry of the Draconis Corporation itself. Upon finding the tome, a glyph was triggered which opened a rift to another dimension, from which an Ancient Artifact appeared covered in what looked to be cosmic arcane sigils. Before being able to cast a containment spell, the Artifact engulfed Marik and his team in an aura of power. Realizing what had happened, the CEO of the Draconis Corp revealed that he was actually a Dragon, and informed Marik that the Artifact was known as the ‘Dragonsurge’ Talisman, and it had endowed he and the others with its mystical powers. Marik would now be able to wield potent curative spells and powerful energies. The Dragons had watched over man-kind for millennia, now our hero would have to uphold their Virtue, as the Hero. . Dragon-stryke !
