Ex-Longbow Field Operative, Marik Rodgan, was recruited by the Draconis Corporation for his work in cybernetically enhanced physio-transference technology. During one particular test of a new optitronic targeting system, an Arachnos Strike Force attacked the facility in an attempt to acquire the very technology Marik and his team were developing ! Not about to let his work into the hands of the enemy, Marik armed his team with various aspects of their work to combat the threat. A sudden surge of power caused an explosion which wounded our hero but did force the attackers to retreat. To repair his wounds, the Draconis Corp medics had to utilize a cybernetic body Marik had designed. Learning what had happened, the CEO of the Draconis Corp revealed that he was actually a Dragon, and informed our hero that an ancient Dragon prophecy had now been fulfilled. The Dragons had watched over man-kind for millennia, now our hero would have to be the Pinnacle of their achievement, as the Hero. . Dragonstryke !
