Wow, what's goin on with this? Some kind of beta preview event or something? I love how they have it all laid out in the forum post like that. Kinda cool...

They had promised events prior to the start of SoG. I don't know if others had read about the first attempt to building the bridge, but evidently the Seventh Phoenix guild (light) ended up killing the dwarves they were supposed to protect. So, the bridge wasn't built. This is the second attempt to building the bridge and I think everyone will be looking out for traitorous behavior.
I couldn't make the last event (out of town) but intend to make this one.

Well, you have to have an SoG account. So, if you can't get into the game now, you're out of luck. They sold 8881 Pioneer accounts and issued 10,000 free Settler accounts.
Last I heard they combined the beta testers with the accounts listed above, so not sure how many that involves. Best bet to get in now is if you're accepted as a beta tester.
