i want to be a mage at this game (i havent bought it yet cause i had a problem with my credit card i still wait an answer..) anyway if i want to be a magician what breed sould i chose at the start all opinions are welcome...

Welcome BLADEGREEK to GameAmp. As you can see it is not extremely busy around here. If you read some of the other threads you will see this potentially brilliant game has a lot of start-up issues. I hope you will enjoy the game, but I am afraid our forum won't be of much help to you.

phedre ty for answer me.the game is going to sink 70%percent sure i know that.But i cant find any rpg game with the potencial i want maybe you can help since yo see an expert in rpg games...ok here what i looking for in rpg
1)i want character to be divided into mages fighter and archers
2)i want the game to be really new new release or beta cause i dont want player have much higher xp than me
Thats why i tryed to buy that game i think my 40 euro as an investement at dark and light if the game survvive which i doupt it i will be 1 of the highest xp player since it hasn't gone to the market yet...but the problem with that game i think is that they dont have enough investor or investor dont give much money...if they could get over the financial problem they got and hire more staff so they can start fixing the bugs and make a descent forum this game could go very well...imagine how many player like want o try an rpg but dont want to play warcraft cause all the player there are so higher xp thats is pointless to them.Cause no matter how many they play they will always be a low xp players from the most of the player in there.
i forgot to tell ya that i used to play runescape and that the only rpg i ever played in my life...i was mostly playing games like wolfenstein and at strategic game like empire earth but now i need to play a good new rpg

Well, in that case, you have come to the right place. There are several really good MMORPG games coming out that we are covering here on our gameamp network. None of them are out yet, but some are getting close. But with all of them you still have a change to get into Beta testing. Let me list them for you.
- Spellborn - This game looks truely amazing. I am eagerly awaiting its release, which they claim is only two months away now.
- Vanguard - Saga of Heroes - The sheer beauty of the game is already enough, but it looks like it will have all the depth you ever wanted in a game. From questing to crafting to politics to pvp. The release will be this winter season.
- Age of Conan - It is a game set in the times of Conan. How can it not be great. On top of it, it is done by the same folks that made Anarachy Online. Which is in my opinion to this date the best MMORPG out there. Release in May 2007.
- Lord of the Rings - I am no LOTR guru, but when you just visit our forum and sense the anticipation, you will be hooked. Beta testing is starting soon or has started already. Still time to sign up, though.
- Gods And Heroes - The game with the most beautiful official site. Only that proves they are on the right track. Also, the fact you will be able to control up to 24 characters at once sounds very intriguing.
- Hero's Journey - This will be the ultimate game. No need to play anything else. But we will have to be patient. Somehow I am worried it might not even happen next year.
There are actually a couple of other games coming out too, but I think these are the ones you should keep your eyes on. I know I am. On the leist above there should be clickable links. But you can also find these games (and others) from the pull-down menu on the top-right corner of the screen.

u are amazing fhedre if you ever come for vacation in greece alone or with your girlfriend just email...and anything i can do throw internet dont hesitate to ask me... ty a lot u are a true help

Hi Bladegreek,
Out of the list provided by Phedre_D, I think Spellborn would be your best bet. Supposedly, their open beta starts in September 2006, with a projected release of October 2006. If you aren't registered for the beta yet, I'd suggest doing so. It looks like a great game.
