Nice catch! Thanks for posting. That is a total of 31 servers. Quite ambitious. I hope they will all get filled nicely. I am also very glad they made French, German and Spanish servers. But as European company they what a mess it else would be.
I think I'll start on Aquilonia and Bori. And maybe visit one of the US PvE servers if I know I could bump into some Ampers.

Ok, had to dig a bit further than the announcement pages for this:
Unofficial EU PVE RP Servers:
1) Bori
2) Ymir
Unofficial US PVE RP Servers:
1) Wiccana
The two EU ones aren't on acocunt of so much interest, rather several big 100+ Guilds had made a choice for either one and aren't budging. Will check for an update around Real Launch.
Unofficial of course means no specific ruleset, which can work (CoX) or not (Vanguard). Still hopeful despite seeing some names I recall from the VG community. Opinions on the RP-PVP servers are split though most seem to think half of them will be down after 6 or so weeks and people will be clamoring about transfers. Ruleset there is to 'tone down PVP' towards PVP Light rather than to beef up RP.

AOC-RP declared Bori also the unofficial EU RP-PvE server. My choice for Bori was actually just personal. It sounds not bad and it is not the top or bottom one. I am a bit worried too how RP-PVP will work out. But I am willing to give it a swing and see how it is. In either case I will not be looking for a transfer. If it is no fun I'll have a nice excuse to make an alt.

With AoC, I've decided to not pretend that I'm not an altoholic, so I'm not even going to try to pick one server, lol.
My current plan is to make my 'main' on Dagoth ('cause it sounds Lovcraftian and was the monster from Conan II [i.e. the only redeming part]). I would pick Set, but I'm afraid it'll just be too popular, and with by bare minimum spec machine I'm afraid I'll have issues.
I'll also make an alt on Cimmeria, well, just because it's Cimmeria.
I'll probably throw some alts on other servers, but I'll at least hit Dagon ('cause it is Lovecraftian) and of course Bori. :)

Yup, Bori won the battle with Ymnir it looks like.
Dang, I liked Ymnir. It's the name of a Dragon in a different background I like.
I'll probably alt on RP-PVP myself as the end-game definitely leans that way. Might be a bit stale on the PvE servers as a result.
One thing I'm worried about with Alting is: One starting area.
It's nice, don't get me wrong. Especially with all the remnants of the originally planned single-player campaign. And there's a different story arc for each class (they tie in to one another btw) and dialogue is flavored to the culture you chose. But, how many times can you repeat it? Getting to 13 took me 12 hours first time round, 5 the last time. I think knowing everything by heart will get you through the Starter area and up to 20 in 6 - 8 hours in the end.
So I am kinda hoping we will see that Start at Level 20 option they also originally intended, and was used for the last day of Open beta, make it into the game. Maybe not equipped with Blue gear, but mundane stuff. If only so that Tortage won't be filled with grumbling Alters bored with the content and intolerant of newbies doing it for the very first time.

Awww, I liked Ymir too..it was the name of the creature in one of my favorite Ray Harryhausen films.
I did see in a forum post somewhere last night (when there still was a forum) that there's an .xml file in the game folder that seems to indicate that you won't be able to pick EU servers if you're US, etc. :(
I hope it's not so!

lol, I don't know...I never did the beta, so I've been patiently waiting for my noobship as well. ;)

Hit the space-bar :-)
Answer to the most commonly asked question in the Open Beta event:
First invest in your Climbing Skill (hit P, then look top right), second look for a white circle at the base of something possibly climbable click on it, then press 'U'.
You can jump of ladders by hitting space again, but beware, falling damage is realistic...
Oh, and sheath your weapons first :-)
