my battlefield 2 game WILL NOT WORK!! i load it up, and it gives me a black screen and crashes to the desktop. i think its the video card but i can play games like Doom 3 and Half Life 2 just fine. why would BF2 not support my card? it is an old Nvidia Geforce 4 TI 4600...the paper says i should have a Geforce 5700 or greater...but i would imagine if i am able to play games like HL2 and Doom 3 with the HIGHEST graphics settings... i just dont get it. Please help!!

You would be imagining wrong. EA's official statement concerning the game is that it WILL NOT play on geforce 4 series cards.

Read the opening statements/article on the following page.
But pay no attention to some of the gripes and complaints that follow. BF2 is an awesome game. I've played the original and bfveitnam and I can say that this game(BF2) is a huge leap in concept and graphics.
Although, I might agree that EA is in it for the money, while Valve is in it for the GAME.
I know that is a sweeping statement but thats just how it feels sometimes.
