i wanted to ask a question about the 15 k armors. i really was wanted to know why they cost that much if the stats are the same to the 1.5 k armors. do they have some special interactions with something? or do they just cost a hell of a lot of money just because they look great?

Its door numer two! There just more expensive because they look better. I just got one myself, though I kind of did it because I wanted to complete this entire chapter, and getting the 15k armor is piece of that :D.

yah it looks better, and there is a degre of 'braggin rightts.
its the same thing with fissure of woe armour (which has been calculated to costing over 1million p in matierls for some classes) looks awesome but not any better than the 1.5k

In my opinion, those that have finished the game with a character have something to work for in getting the 15k armor. But yes, it is just an appearance change. I think those that are crafted in the Granite Citadel and Marhan's Grotto and those crafted in the FoW and UW have slight differences to each other, although the materials needed for the FoW and UW are a lot more expensive to buy then the others.

I bought 1 on the basis, that I already had a 1.5k set of knights armour, and i realised that it was lacking energy.
So my option was to go for a gladiator set.
I thought long and hard about it and came to the conclusion, that ok i could save gold, but id regret it as i wanted my char to stand out.
And I was right u get noticed when u gave 15k armour on, you get alot of peeps in the game asking where u got it from..
So i am happy with my very expensive purchase..and would buy the more expensive stuff again..
Thats when ive managed to get enough gold that is, im skint now...lol
So any Donations would be appreciated...lol

i just bought the platemail curcaiss today actually. the grotto and citadel r in south shiverpeaks. i think the grotto is south and a litte west from thunderhead and to get to the citadel u shud head west from the iron mines and go to copperhammer mines and then north from there. probably best to run it instead of fighting.
is it just me or does the warrior FoW armour make them look a little tubby?

I personally was very disapointed that the more expensive armor is just better looking. It makes no sense to me that an armor that requires so many rare drops and so much money has no bonus whatsoever. Even if it bumped up armor by 5%, or say if you completed the entire set, got a skill bonus based on the type of set you closed. Having it be a purely aestetic improvement is a VERY lame let-down.....

*snicker* I think the same thing, as to what glory said, i agree, I like my desert or drak's armour I have better, and if people look at it and snub their noses at my player because of my armor, then it's their loss
