Hello all,
I have a problem that hopefully you'll know how to fix. I just installed the game, but it wont start when I double click the icon. I get the L2 splash screen for about a split second, then it goes away, and nothing else happens.
I've fully updated the client
I've made sure my video drivers are up to date
It has worked before on this system with no problems. I had to reinstall due to a hard drive re-format.
Anyone have any ideas on whats going on?

Is the game installed from the real LineageII CD-roms or DVD? If it is a fake cd or dvd that might be the problem. If you have downloaded the game from the net you should check if you have downloaded the correct game from the official site in order to be 100% sure. If it is the real cd or dvd you should check for scraches.

did you remember to install direct X, the game won't play w/o it... if you have you should let support know what is going on
