going down for a full day without warning or explanation for no reason whatsoever, causing me to forfeit 1 match and my clan to have to reschedule another, is just lame... and then when it DOES come back im getting 305% packet loss spikes and it's completely unplayable for gaming... all i can say is this BETTER not last til tomorrow...
course this nothing compared to the time we had about 15 minutes of actual working connection for a whole month and they wanted to charge us for the full month :| even tho the reason behind it was obvious as hell but with roadrunner you gotta fight thru the tons of morons to find the 1 or 2 people who they musta like accidentally hired who know what they're doing, and THEY fix the shit in about 5 minutes... too bad it took 3 months to find that 1 guy last time...
i need a LAN partner in houston =\... this roadrunner bullshit is beat...

hey wow so today im getting no packet loss BUT MY PING IS 2-3 TIMES WHAT IT SHOULD BE!
we played a match on a DALLAS SERVER! 4 HOURS AWAY! and i was pingin 115! then 2nd round we had to play on a St Louis one!!
luckily it seems to have been sorted out tnight... i guess a router or something musta got essploded and they fixed it... i'm still gettin occasional packet loss but ping is back to normal...
SO OF COURSE I HAVE NO MORE MATCHES FOR AWHILE >:|

ITS NOT FINISHED!!
turns out i have a 1v1 match tnight and sure enough there's storms today so my connection is back to its old crappiness, only NOW i get packet loss along with higher pings!!
seriously... if anyone knows of a serious ut player in houston i can LAN with... lemme know =\...

dsl i assume? atleast you dont have qwest
results with my chicago server (im in minnesota)
from minnesota to chicago on qwest dsl: 90 ping
from CHICAGO to chicago on qwest dsl (friend):80(EIGHTY!) ping
minnesota to chicago on comcast cable (just got): 48-52 ping (32 now that i put tickrate to 30 from 20)
