OK, I like to think of myself as a computer geek, because I know more then your average bear when it comes to computers. I'm about to make a website with screen shots of all my different heroes. Here's where the geek comes crashing down.
For the life of me, I just don't understand how to grab a screen shot in the game. I know it's the 'print screen' key, but, do you hit 'alt', 'ctrl' or 'Fn' with it? My keyboard has 3 different commands on the print screen key. Another question is where do the grabs go to in the computer? And....one last question...Can I use Photoshop to clean up and convert the grabs, or do I have to use Paint in the WinXP system?
How sad, I can build a computer that puts anything on the market to shame, but, when it comes to stuff like this...I'm screaming "DUH!!!"

All you have to do is hit "Print Screen" and this will save it in the screenshot folder in your City of Heroes directory. They will be saved in .tga format and you can convert them with photoshop.

Don't forget, you can simply change the key in which screenshots are taken from your options menu. I just changed it to F12 or something.

Me too (F12) but that is because I also make use of a screen capture utility screenprint32 to capture areas of the screen and that is assigned to Print Screen.
