Hers my pc
amd 64 3800
2 gig corsair twin xms pro(the led ones)
saphire x850xt pe 256 card
wd raptor 10k rpm
audigy soundcard
Asrock ax-m (ali chipset I think!)
Now i have not got a lcd monitor, I have a 19 inch crt, is it safe to run the forced resoltion 1280x1024? as it seems to work fine, the game runs very smooth but the fps goes down when lots of tanks are on teh screen and some servers I can play all night with no slowness at all map after map, I run on all high settings with aa off. My catalyst is on default settings (Balanced).
What settings could I use to make the performance better but not killing too much qulaity graphics?
I like runing at the lcd resolution, however I can run at 1600x1200 and thats fine but i get the same problem.
Can someone tell me what the weakness is in my system or am I expecting too much from it?

I have to tell you, I have run both High settings and low. I currently run on low as the graphics difference between the two is not worth the hit you take in FPS.
I run at 1024X768 (LCD Monitor) on the low settings in the game. Give it a try and see if it helps and you can live with it. Also, check out this link and see if you can find something there that will help you. Look at the in game settings pics. The graphics are not that different aside from the shading.
