| Does any now the Max Level |

I came from GW and was disappointed that I can max out at Level 20 very quickly. Just wondering whats the max level for this game. And when killing monsters, do they drop armor? I got to know, don't wanna get it if its like GW.

In DSI the max level was 150. Pretty much impossible to reach in the single player campaign.
Dont know if they have changed that, but getting level 10-20 in the demo makes me belive so.(at least hoping)
The monster drop different items, armor, gold, potions, weapons etc..
But they do not drop "their" armor, the one they are wearing
You can pretty much get any "in-game" item from a monster.

I'm just taking a wild guess, GW could stand for Guild Wars - another big MMORPG (but I'm sure you've heard of it).
This with the levels and not being able to max out in single play only, that got me thinking about World of Warcraft a bit. You see, I'm very interested in that game, but can't afford the monthly subscription to play it, at least not right now. However, I've been downloading several epic fight in-game recorded movies where huge guilds and dozens of players get together to bring down those huge bosses.
I really hope that I can experience something similar (it would just be in a bit smaller scale) in DS2 - since it seem to be a great gameplay experience. I really hope that you can get together with 10 - 20 other players online in DS2 and go take down bosses which are much much more powerful online than they would be in single player.
Just the view of magic attacks flying from all over the screen, you have the solid "tanks" up front going melee and enchanted arrows flying around their heads from the rangers. Well, you get the picture.
You think such a scene would be possible in DS2 ?

Indeed it is Guild Wars, check out our Guild Wars site by clicking the link on the lower right hand side under Network Sites. We've compiled some great information on the game and there's no subscription fee for the game either :)

Yep, i know what Guild Wars is, haven´t played it though.
Incoming, Yes!, i get your point and that thought have occured in my mind aswell.
It would be a great bit of fun to join up with multiple characters and cooperate.
I hope we will see that in the future, even if it is hard to create such a gameplay mode for DSII.

Max level is 170....thats sick, I guess this game is going to keep me busy for quite a while.
The more I read this game, the more excited I am to release day. DS2 sounds like it might be the next Diablo. And thats the highest compliment a RPG can get.

The MAX level is 100 not 170
and the max skill is 100
the max stat is 210

Correction...the max BASE stat is 210, you can get higher with magic items.
(Considering that my combat mage has about 380 int!)
