Snipers

Alright so, Battlefield 2 has many character classes but the one I enjoy playing the most is the Sniper. I have aquired the .50 cal sniper rifle and it is fun.

But...

My complaint is that I would like to see the crosshairs of the zoomed in scope for the sniper rifles changed to...

-thinner crosshairs ( Out at ranges of 200m or more the sighting aperture covers the target almost completely )

-Elevation and Windage numbers that actually make sense. Or no numbers at all, just distance lines that can verify a targets distance at a glance in accordance to the targets size.

Or just replace them with the vietnam style crosshairs from Battlefield Vietnam.

Re: Snipers

i think he missed it...

i'll make a mod for u bud, just because i want the same thing, and maybe if u wish upon a star and cross your fingers, pb wont care and it can be a mp mod too, just like the blood bursts.

though... the only rifle i have issues with is the m95 sights.

Re: Snipers

Well the sights must work pretty darn well because I have been ventilated many times by those dang guns.

As a fellow sniper, u need to know several things about the video game world of sniping... the sniper rifle was built in this game for a medium to long ranger gun... note:medium meaning the easy kills and best range for it... long range means-bullet drop, environment effecting the bullet, ping ect. and as for the crosshairs, i think they are fine but if it is getting in the way u are sniper further than the game was designed for... hope this helps u to become a better sniper...

-One Shot, One Kill

Re: Snipers

in response to steve: that IS true, there is no way to put a round out at 1000+ yds in these maps, but i still think the m95 crosshairs are a bit too fat for putting a round out at even 200 yds being that they cover the head and close to 1/3 of the chest, thinner crosshairs like what they used in the BFV:ww2 mod springfields, would be perfect for both the m95 and m24, where the fog allowed vision out to over 300 yds.
