Pretty cool Shad...where did you score that? Please tell its free because that would be pretty cool. Maybe for staff members of gameamp.com to get (merely idea)....I know we have a staff stamp in our name but its easier to see that your dealing w/ them with a cool logo across your sign!

I made it yesterday afternoon trying to kill time before I left work. ;P
*edit: If you're interested in having sig made, let me know what you're looking for and I'll try to whip something up in my free time (which isn't a whole lot, so don't get mad if it takes me a while to get to it) :)

So you basically created from scratch, maybe using an art program. I love art/drawing...etc...etc and I never even considered doing something like that. I have an art program sitting in my computer collecting dust (use mostly to edit pics and stuff).
Maybe I can dabble myself and come up w/ something wicked. Prob is I need to use Grifter so lets see what I can do with that without landing, say a suit on my hands!

I doubt anyone is going to get their feathers in a ruffle from someone's signature. People rip off photos for sigs all the time. :p You're not selling your sig as original artwork and you're not making money from it. I think you're covered ;)

What do you use for resources, anything in particular that you go to or such? Dont take me as ripping off your idea, I think its pretty cool. I have seen others from differ sites but never really put much thought into it. But when I saw yours thought damn that is pretty cool.
I did some searches but didnt produce many results. Is there somewhere to go w/ backgrounds? I can get the fonts and color effects but its finding the image want to use.

Well, first I kind of get an idea of what I want my sig to respresent. For instance, my handle is ShadowWraith, so I wanted something dark, maybe somewhat morbid. Perhaps wispy and ghost like, or something of the sort. So I start googling images by keyword, like ghost or haunted, until I find a nice base image to work with (if I don't just create a texture from scratch). From there I might apply a series of filters and effects until I get something I like. If you need help in this area, there are tons of tutorials online (if you have photoshop mainly). Once I have the base, I usually lay out the name and any subtext in a font I like, or find one on sites like www.1001freefonts.com - if I don't already have one. Then I just continue messing around with filters, effects, maybe adjusting hue/saturation, masking out certain areas, making abstract shapes, whatever.
There's not really a set process honestly, I just kinda go with what strikes me at the moment. But using google image search and reading up on photoshop tutorials is a good start for the fledgling artist. :)

Nice! Crisp, clean, and simplistic - great for comicbook style art. And, you have a nice base to build on if you decide to play around with it more. :)
One suggestion - The unspoken standard for sigs is 400x150 or less. Try moving things closer together or reducing the size of the individual images to chop off an extra 38px height.

Hmm, maybe it would be better if you could put your text stuff, like character names, off to the side of the graphic sig piece. That would make the overall signature line smaller, but still leave you with your graphic piece untouched. And, I think the text next to the graphic would look cool. ;)

Well cutting out all of the text that falls outside the signature graphic would probably be a help in reducing overall size as well. I guess what I mean is the signature is fairly large itself, but then all of the multi-colored stuff about characters etc. is as large if not larger than the sig. All and all it combines to make a pretty huge sig :)
Cåerbannog Level 60 Troll Rogue (Eldre'THalas)
Tathariel Level 60 Night Elf Druid (Skywall)
Talinarae Level 60 Night Elf Hunter (Skywall)
Moriquendi Level 54 Night Elf Rogue (Skywall)
Caerbannog Level 45 Gnome Mage (Skywall)
Avantia- Level 36 Human Priest (Skywall)

Well, that's kind of what I meant, but I thought that maybe he could keep the text and format it so it appears to the right of the sig graphic.

It isn't a bad siggy. Simple and to the point. If you are wanting to know how to get an image as your siggy, there is a really great guide here. It goes step by step how to load an image to your image gallery, and how to use it as your siggy.
