Hey all,
I was just wondering, I was talking to some guy once and he told me that he heard a rumour that there is some chest, right near a town. And "apparently" it gives really good weapons out of it (like bunch of max damage ones all the time). Does anyone know anything about this?
Is it just bull?
Or is it real?
(if its real please tell me, as I would love to know about it)

a load of shit if there was somin like that in the game it wood be to easy its just some ppl tryin start somin

It may be true, but dont the chests give different things every time you open them? I guess its possible that gave a bunch of max damage weapons, but highly unlikely.

well, north of droknars forge there is a chest in a cave. due to botting though they have added around 9 trolls or so to the cave so players cant make bots to open them and pick out all items (think people had been doing it there and somewhere in teh crystal desert). I farm the trolls (good exp and the tusks/drops) and i usually find 1-3 chests within the cave, each holding around 3 items, which are close to max damage. I have yet to see a gold item from a chest, but atleast 1/3 are blues.

I believe the chest you are referring to may be the one around Mahan’s Grotto (South of Thunderhead Keep), I have made a lot of runs there myself and have not received any gold or even purple weapons. I think after selling all items I made about 2 platinum after 20-30 minutes, that’s after identifying items and getting a few rare items.
