Account Name Change 
I am currently in the process of joining a clan and I need to put on my tag...problem is I cant do that without creating a new account....is there any way to modify your account legally without loosing all your points???

I got a response from EA....here are there words directly from the E-Mail...so if anybody tries to tell you diff...tell them there full of shit and if they magically do do it somehow...its not legal and you could end up getting banned from servers by PB or EA.

First of all I would like to apologize for the inconveniences you are going through, believe me I know how you feel I'm a gamer myself. Unfortunately this cannot be done. Once the account has been made you can only change your Gamespy ID but not the Battlefield 2 account. There is no way to delete this either.

keep the first as the "playing" account, and make a second tagged account as your "official" clan account.

or just tell the clan to wait for now until DICE makes it so you can change your name.

you know they will, eventually. i haven't EVER seen an online FPS before that didn't let you change your name.
