| City of Vilains and SW3 at the same time |

a few days ago i went down to my local Game Stop and asked when CoV was coming out and he said for the store (hes the manager and a friend) that CoV was coming out Oct. 31st and Star Wars ep. 3 was comin out Nov. 1st and that he was trying to have like a midnight release for when they came out. he said that it would basically be like a costume contest for the release of CoV and for the release of SW3 would start at midnight instead of having to wait for the other retailers to start selling them the next day.
i will keep updating as i get more info on this!!!

I would really say to not hold your breath for CoV to hit by Oct, the earliest I would expect CoV would be Dec/Jan. Beta still needs to run and I would estimate they need 3-5 months of beta testing.....check max load of servers....find all the bugs and there will be a bugs aplenty. I really doubt CoV will hit Oct. As much as I would love that I really doubt it.

I' have to agree, November is probably the earliest we'll see City of Villains. Good news is the beta has started! (and NO i haven't gotten my invite, and don't start bragging if u have :P )

so how did he plan on working that?? if COV comes out oct 31, and he didnt put em out on the shelf until midnight that night he'd lose sales, and if he releases SW3 a day early, there are quite a few legal issues with doing that. i work at a grocery, and if we sell a movie, or take the harry potter book release for example, i worked till 1am that night. if i had started selling books b4 12:01am the store would have been fined, and we would be unable to reorder to restock it if it sold out.
