Health -50 Focus Item?

Where do you get the Health -50 Focus Item (Energy Thing)?
I thought it was at the Quest "Cities of Ascalon" but it says you only get 1 Earth thing and another one (Non-Monk), I don't know if it is one of these but I'll check it anyways
If anyone of you knows they nerfed this pls tell me.

where do u get the citys of ascolon quest ive looked all over but cant find it

You get the Quest in AScalon City,
Go up the stairs that are behind Warmaster Tydus and turn left (not the way to the Great Northern Wall but the other side), you'll find Symon the Scribe, He's got the quest for you.

^^ This depends. Some monks that want it may have accidentally done the quest at the beginning of the game and sold the thing thinking it's worthless, which it mostly is, but necessary for the super monk build. In these cases you can sell it for as much as 20k. I've done the quest 6 times (Yes, I created and destroyed 2 characters after doing it) simply to sell these items and unlock some skills). I've kept one for my own solo monk, but sold the other 5 for somewhere around 90k total. If you're patient, you'll find someone to pay a lot.

Is there also a Healing Focus thing?
Some guy says he wants that one for his Invinci Monk, But I thought this was the only 1 for Invinci Monk and the only one that gives -50 health.

k srry to sound noobish, but why would u want something that brings ur health down? im guessin it adds something else, but what? and do u upgrade a focus item, or is it already 1?

ok sandwich the solo build uses a skill that makes it so u take less damage. It makes it so u only take 5% damage. so the lower the hp the less damage u would take. Then since u are a monk u would recover wut u have lost extremly FAST.

1. go to ascalon city.
2. look for the scribe guy hes at the top of stairs you'll see him by storage.
3. get quest citys of ascalon
4 Do it and get your -50 focus reward

no longer need to get the item they have nerfed the invici monk build so u dont need it

In reply to Super Sayain, you can still do the solo, just change protective bond to protective spirit, and heal yourself more often.

ok maybe im blind, but i did the simon the scribe quest and it was for some "ascalon census." Went back to him, got reward, not the -50 thing, and he had no more quests. I remember doing this quest with my warrior, so y can't i get it for my monk? Any ideas?

I know the build has been nurfed (somewhat) but the -50 health focus item was NEVER a nescessity, and barely (I would say not at all) beneficial item. There are 2/3 bad things about it. First ANY health degen will kill you before you have a chance to breeze. Second is that I did the math, and with 105 health it takes 21 hits to kill you (assuming no degen or healing), but with 55 it takes 18 hits. The third thing is that this isn't a monk item, and not max (I'm assuming this from what has been said in this thread, I have never actually seen this item) so you don't get full energy from it. I happen to have found a -20 health +12 energy prot item, and that is quite perfect. However when soloing UW I only use it for smites and nights, because of the degen from bulls. (with 85 it still takes 21 hits to kill you)

Shnissugah, you are right. The -50 health item was never necessary. Personally i use a gold item i found, with 12 energy and - health. But I also think the lower the health, the better. Less health is less damage you take, which makes mending more valuable. If you have 100 health, and take 10 per hit, and have 4 regen, you will die faster then if you have 55 health, and take 5 per hit, and have 4 regen.

Symons quests are unlocked after doing a few missions I believe. After you do Cities of Ascalon he also has a 2000xp for that just requires a little money.

I have one of the items that gives -50 health that I picked up after I deleted a character and started over throught the game. I don't intend to make an invinci-monk, never intended to even before the last update, so if anyone wants to buy it off me, just message me in-game. Just mention that you saw the post on gameamp and you'd like to buy.

um.....

maybe i dont understand this but.... that focus item looks bad, why would u want sumthing that lowers ur health like that?

why not use 1 that has max energy and hp + 30 or summing wouldnt that be better?
