| Need a bit of pet help... |

Hey all... new to the community, good ta find ya. I have some questions on pets... I'm still in the desert and my Ice Golem has hit full maturity, but still has nothing in the "spell" box, even though he's classed as a "Grand Magician". Does this mean he's never going to get a spell (i.e., it's reserved for other pets), or am I doing something wrong?

Pets come with predetermined skills.. so far i don't think you can teach them anything so wat ever they have your stuck with it... if you want to have something with spells you can choose then get a mage instead. Since your in the desert you have to wait till the next act to get a combat mage or you can use Taar for nature mage.

i dont think you fed your pet.
Your pet grows , depending of what you fed him (when having "Inventory" open , drag Item to the portrait)
depending of what you feed him ,it gets bonuses.
HP Pots = + Life
Mana Pots = + Mana
Melee Weapons = + strength
ranged Weapons = + dexterity
Staffs and cestuses = + intelligence
Armors = + Armor / others depending on armor type
Shields = +Armor
Rings , Amulets = Some Mix up
Unique and Rare (incl. Sets) make it grow faster)
btw , maturity has nothing to do with Level.
