| Problem with a new character in my group |

I have change my dire wolf by a combat mage. The problem is that my party is about 33 level, and the mage is only 23.
The mage go down with one enemy strike, and like her attack are very light, she doesnt get too px.
¿Any tip about how to get some px to this character?. I have return to act 2 locations, and make only the mage killing monsters, but it go up very slowly.

simply release the character back into the INN and add him to your party again, this should increase he's level to a level closer to your party automatically. Might take a few times i dunno why it doesn't work all the time.
i did this to lothar who was level 4 in the INN and when he came out of the inn he turned into level 40.

could you be more specific what have you done...I've been playing in and out the inn and nothing modifies..I tryed with Vix and Amren...but they remained as the same level I found them 12 and 20...they didin't fight in my party...I sent them directly to the inn...do you know if I have to do something special for this to happen...or maybe this is just a one of the rarely good bugs :)

Well i don't know how exactly it works but it's definetely not a rare good bug since all of the members i don't use is level 40 now and my main party is level 44... but yeah i did notice that it didn't work in the beginning for amren and eva. I started getting new members when i got to ACT 3 since i want to complete optional quests so it could be that... or It could be the actual INN your getting them at, i recruit most of the new members at the first town (Elundra?? can't remember the name) maybe it doesn't work in Amanlu... so you can try to remove and then add them using the INN in the first town instead.

ive noticed as well but i think it is if you hire a person and never use it just dirctly send it to the inn it will level up to a close lvl the first time you take it out because i hired lothar in the begining but sent him straight to the inn and then played with deru up untill lvl 13 and when i came to act 2 (i´was around lvl 19-22) i put her and lothar in team to complete their subquest but only lothar had lvled up

I did that with Vix.send him to the inn without using him...he is still lvl 12...I don't know if it matters where you dismiss him...in the town or out in the jungle...I didn't find anything logical for this thing...and till now every caracter that I sent to the inn remained at the same level

Every Character i have recruited has changed to a lvl closer to me with the exception of the one half-giant in Eriulan.
