I was just thinking and correct me if im wrong but wouldnt it be extremly usefull for a melee char to get a few skills into dodge.

i dont think it would really matter much. i have 2 lvl 37 duel wielding melee chars in my party and neither of them have died once yet =D. my ranger and my mage however get pwned frequently lol.
give credit where credit's due =D

Its nice for a sword and shield warrior, with my warrior I put as many points as possible into it, with the Barricade ability, Dodge, Survival (+resists!), and the Wind embrace buff from my nature mage, i get around 70 percent dodge/shield/shield bonuses. In short, YES I think it's worth it.
Drakkisath, level 82 Sword and shield melee.
