Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone got there Moonfire badge after they logged on today for i5 when they have done it before i5 release? Cause I didn;t so I guess I have to re-do it.
Ninja ni naru tame ni baka sugiru hitobito wa mada samurai no seikatsu o erabu koto ga dekimasu.
People who are too stupid to become ninja can still choose the life of the samurai.

Greetings,
As I understand it, there is not going to be any data-mining to provide the auxilliary task force badges to anyone who has already done them. To get the new badges for these task forces, we'll have to re-do each of them.

Oh, well, something to do I guess.

all the shadow shards too.
pretty lame in my opinion, i asked tech support to alter my character to show those badges, since it says that i have not done them and clearly i have.
(souvenirs are clearly displayed in clues menu)
they said some balony about bla bal and that i (and presumably 8 of my friends) should redo all the Tf's.
i mentioned that this would take us all around 65 hours to rectify their error and that he could personally fix it for me in under 2 minutes.
he cut and paste the same wnswer and sent ir back to me.
i have decided to continue toi ask him for the same support for the next few weeks instead.
and am enjoying wasting supports time.
I also like to send all my complaints for direct responses to Tackkimjin@ncsoft.com
please join me and petition for these badges, it would take the dev's a minute or two to make a gui that tech support could fix the badge bug on demand.
If the wheel doesn't squeak, it won't get oiled.

Positron stated why they will not be datamining for these badges. Basically when badges were first introduced they only had 2 months worth of data to go through to award each player the badge they deserved (which took them 3 months to accomplish), now they have around 15 months or so of data to go over and would take them 1-2 YEARS to go through all that information to award everyone their badges. It wouldn't be fair to anyone else if they awarded you the badge just because you had a souvenir to prove you did it. Think of everyone else that had the misfortune of doing those TF's after they did away with souvenir's. If they do for one person then they must do for all. Sorry, but your badges won't be coming.

This is a form of griefing, and we do not support that here. While we would ALL like to get these badges, it is not gonna happen, no matter how pushy you get with it. Your odds are better to get your account suspended for harrsassment. When it all boils down, these are just ficticious badges in a game... not that big a deal.
