All I have to say is, you could be doing this to complete more areas of your website. These things are fun, and I liked running around in first person mode to get some interesting shots. Also gave me a good reason to do things for free that surprised the guys I grouped with, and anything that encourages good play is good by me.

Well, IMO it should be schedualed a little bit shorter durationn, I really didn't attempt it since for 1/2 of the time it was on school days, and that would make it very hard to be able to compete and be able to do have a social life. (A current listing of ranks would have been VERY helpful.)
Overall, for the screenshots I took I thought it was fun.

This comp was a crock, i thought the idea was to take good photos not as many as u could , i had well over 20 but didn't sumbit em because i thought they were supposed to be good. Waste of friggin time.

Here were the official rules:
- Your photo count is dependant on how many UNIQUE monsters you photograph. More than one photograph per individual monster will not be counted towards your total.
- Monster photos submitted between the dates of 8/1/2005 – 8/31/2005 will count toward a user’s photo count.
- Guild Wars GameAmp staff are ELIGIBLE for this contest. Since there will be no approval process for the addition of these monster photos, staff members do not have an unfair advantage.
- Monsters must be photographed in close range and the monster type should be obvious upon view.
- Photos may be removed from your total count if they are not properly cropped and/or resized to 200 width.
- Malicious uploads, multiple images uploaded under the wrong monster and any form of illegitimate posting will be subject to disqualification of the user who posted them.
We do appreciate you uploading only the best of the best and don't worry we'll run more contests in the future. Always try and get creative with the rules though. If it doesn't say you can't do it, then do it! As long as they follow the rules, you're in there ;)

HA! Swamp_Fox, in my mind you'll always have a higher credibility than me. You've probably gotten more from actual people than I have, mine's all guides and soon this contest will tack onto that, except for maybe 100 or so. I'm not sure that I'm really going to be so well known on the website just because of a big number, although it does help me against guys who call me stupid in-game because things didn't go their way.
Oddly enough I thought I would lose because I didn't do it for half the time either. It started becoming off and on. So I would have shortened it to maybe half a month, too.

Id like to see some of the great pictures the winners took. Must be awesome. Wondering about how many Unique monsters there are too. If possible at least 3pix out of the 1st and 2nd place winners.

Too bad it ended after i signed up, but it looked fun and I think this kind of contest is really a good thing. I hope there will be another one so I can participate.

I`ve always had problems submitting any screenshot to this site. I still haven`t found a way to do it. So how do you crop your pictures?

Nothing worked but there are far bigger images as 70Kb on the site. Therefore how do you do it?
