Through the years in every industry (for that matter real life) there have been villains of every form. Some better than others but all have some impact on you. So thinking about all the villains you can recall....comics, movies, books, television, or even real life.
Who shall provide you with the influence for your evil being in City of Villains?

I would have to say that by far, I have always wanted to be Carnage. He was totolly uber looking. The second influence would be Venom. Both of them totally kickbut and uber looking. Plus the fact that you get to see them beat the heck out of that candy freak Spider boy

I thought about this long and hard but drew a big blank. There are villains I like but they always borderlined good, Deadpool. Perfect example, he was a merc but never had a true side. He was good and then bad, good then bad...make up your mind.
Now this is a stretch for villain but Tyler Durden from Fight Club is a great adversay. Even though he really was a manifestation of the way Ed Nortons character wanted to be he was still in the end a good villain. He was cunning, very meticulous in his planning and always seemed a step ahead.

Villains, huh? From the other answers I've seen, I guess I'm supposed to reference a character that's had an influence on me...But I don't really think like that. The villains that I draw my anger from are people that I knew in RL. The bullies that beat the crap out of me when I was too small to protect myself. The guys that took advantage of their power when I was going through my freshman year at The Citadel. I look at how free they were without the worry of retaliation, and I think, "That's how I want to be." I want my character to be ruthless simply because he knows that there will be no negative results...And that's my motivation. Malice's absolute power will corrupt him absolutely. :)

i always liked villains that were evil just because. if you have the power why not use it. i really liked tht Tooth fairy in darkness falls. the idea of anything that is supposed to be good turning evil is always fun (in fiction of course)

the single villain that has influenced me the most......
the joker. believe it or not the 3rd word that ever came out of my mouth was batman. i love batman when i was a kid, and i took my batman toy EVERYWHERE. my batman was like my blankie.
the joker is so ruthless and eccentric, i loved how he always kept batman guessing.
and even though they arent villains, ive always loved Collossus and Bishop from X-men
and finally John Constantine. not too many people no about him except for that movie, constantine. but i like how he never has a side, just you know he is trying to kill demons to find his way to salvation

That makes two of us. . . Lawl.
Mewtwo, from the first Pokemon movie. Yeah, he's not quite as bad arse now as he was back then, when my path of evil was only just starting to begin. But still, the prospect of ending the world because everything on it is corrupt has always come across as solid logic to me.
Gaara was an interesting character too. Even after he turned goody-goody he was still pretty bad arse, except when he got pwned by Deidara all because he saved the village, that was lame, he should have let them all die like the lazy bums they are. They could have actually been doing something that whole time, but instead they decide to just sit around and let Gaara handle the whole thing, until it starts looking bad and only then do they actually do something, but it still takes them forever to actually do it.
I'm sure there might be some other characters I've taken an liking too, but for the most part my evilness was brought on by myself. A few minor influences, but nothing too significant.

Gaara owns. Panda eyes ftw.
Ive always been the armor/heavy artillery tech type person. Robots, heavy suits of clunky metal and astonishing technology is just me. Not all that oogy-boogy demon . I stick to my tin can characters. (And, well, once in a while, my ninjas)
I grew up with Iron Man by my side (Iron Man The Animated Series), and has always had a liking to his and War Machine's armors. Especially his awesome helmet.
Cute.
Also, my favorite villain from Iron Man, the Crimson Dynamo. The Russian supervillain in the bloodred super fantastic shiny metal suit.
Some of you may know Flammeklinge, my 5th Column wannabe.
The 5th Column wasnt all the reason i made him, it was also because i wanted that red awesome-looking armor. But it felt wrong to make a Crimson Dynamo lookalike, with his name (since i'd get banned), and not many know of him anyway. So, why not copy the Column? Everybody knows them, theyre red, and theyre german! What more could you get? Hence, Flam was born. And he kicks serious arse.
Also, i have a fetish for helmets that cover up your whole face, but still with a real human face behind it.. which is how i got the idea for Midnight Guards' helm.
Note that its a 'Half Helmet', just with a reaper and visor, so there actually is a face behind the mask. Woah, im so awesome. (now dont go ahead and be so lame that you steal my design kthnxbai.)
And on a side note, i loathe losing (haha im such a crybaby), so Invulnerability made up for that. Except if im agaisnst Carnies. But they should just die a slow, horrible, painful death. All of them.
P.S Crimmy still rocks.

LMAO no my character inspirations come from many sources, but mostly i look into one of the things that intregues me the most in life, a past time i shall take as my Uni subject... History! I like to look back to medieval times or long before and i base my characters around demons or gods (or both, as hellmeister ive based as a demon with a blessing from a god of war, both from opposite ends of the world). Though many think of it as a waste of time, i find reading apon the studies of demonology most interesting, and a fansanation inspiration for my little evilies.
Thats my source of inspiration :)

Mine would have to be Bishop Don, he is just so evil and relentless in everything he does. A V.Vines here powers are so cool I wish I could sling thorns and destroy things. Man there is just pure evil in both of them. Haha ok hmmmm let me think. I think the biggest inf of a Villian would be The Joker. Batman is uber smart and my superhero influ. Even when I did that little survey it said I was Batman. But the Joker sometimes always found a way to outsmart The Batman.

Jubei, one of the henchmen on Evil Genius inspired my katana scrapper. I'm not sure if that counts, but all my villains are fairly unique and that was the closest I could get. He does have DA, so he is sort of half evil.
