Re: My G card

Honestly I dont know what to tell you. I dont think that your card is on the supported card list for the game but from what I found that list is kinda meaningless anyways. The GeForce FX 5700 is on the list and that is the card I had before I upgraded.....well to make an extremely long story short.....the FX 5700 that I had would not run the game. However my buddy Tom has the FX 5600 and he plays just fine on low settings. My only suggestion is to go ahead and buy the game if you havent already but be prepared to buy a new Graphics card. If your gona fork out the money to put a new Graphics card in you might as well get some more RAM while you are at it......If you can afford it. Ok JonPenn....go ahead and tear up my post now and tell me how stupid my suggestion is....lol

Re: My G card

yeah i agree, the best thing to do is try it... first off install the nvidia driver off the bf2 disc for your 5200, i sold my old card fx5700ultra to my buddy and his play fine on medium settings.... the driver on the disc has better shadow shader files the older drivers(ie) like when the 5200 came out..... you could also try the cool bits program and turn up the mhz on your gpu on card try 30mhz or so that will help...... good luck reply let me know how ya make out.... oh by the way.... if you have agp on your mobo... try getting a bfg660gt it will run bf2 fine and not cost you a arm and a leg!! good luck!!!
