Press "N" on the keybaor dint he gamr to open your friends list, form thier you can add a friend (it will have a box where you cna type there name in to add friends)

wish they would add a right click option or a copy n paste option, it's a b***h adding friends by typing sometimes :(
or a double click friends list name to send pst
