Well, this post really has no point except for me to brag about doing my fourth ever TF and having beaten it quite nicely. I had my lvl 28 MA/Regen scrapper and was hopping around Steel Canyon looking for fires and badges. I heard someone calling for Positron TF participants and I said sure, why not?
The team ended up being me, an ice blaster named Berg, a lvl 16 eng/eng blaster, a lvl 50 dark/emp (or vice versa) defender, and a lvl 17 mind cntrl/emp controller. It was kind of sad, all of us were exemped down to 15. The three lower leveled people apparently hadn't used their respecs well and didn't have travel powers. After our first mish, Berg left because he wanted to do something to get XP.
After our third mission (all "Kill so-and-so and his guards") we realized just how long this insane TF was. It seemed HUGE. So our blaster and defender decide that we should log out and meet back to complete it tomorrow. I wasn't down with that, really, but they left and oh well.
Except the controller! The lvl 17 controller stuck around and I just kept plowing on. The TF was on Heroic. As long as it was "find so and so and his guards" I could jump ahead with SJ, find the boss, kill him on my own, and bing bang boom. There was a lot of jumping around to talk to people towards the middle.
Finally, the last 5 missions were all "defeat all" missions with just the troller and I. Even so, we plowed on with him able to heal me and me able to dish out a pretty sweet amount of damage. (I had all SO's.)
So the final result? WE BEAT IT! FREAKING HELL YES! I couldn't believe we managed to beat the TF with only two guys. We were fighting some of the worst guys too, the Vahz, the CoT, and the Clockwork. After the main group broke up, I never died while fighting alongside my awesome troller buddy (Named Rikksta, a guy on Liberty, look him up if you need a good troller). He saved my arse many times.
Well, we got the badge, got the inf, no exp, but it was well worth the satisfaction of being able to laugh at the suckers who ditched us. In total, we finished in about 4 hours. Considering we lost 3/5 of our team in the first hour or two, I think that's pretty f'ing fast. Go us.

not only go you b/c you finished w/ only 2 people, but even more GO YOU b/c if they just logged out and didn't quit the tf then you were doing those missions spawned for 6 or so.... so woo hoo.... also remember the tf's are as bad when you are ex'ed you do a lot more damage and it makes it go a lot quicker
