Instead of using specific spawn locations, creatures in Dark and Light will spread in their defined habitat: wide zones in which they will appear, but never at the same place since they will remember the place they appeared in before. In addition, some monsters will migrate because it is in their nature to do so, or because the area is dangerous for them and they die a lot from hunting. The fauna of Dark and Light will change constantly.
Environment matters as well: if food gets scarce, the animals will migrate to a new area where they can find more food and more prey.

This is from the official faq's page. What I was wondering is how will this effect players. I know that in a lot of MMO's people are constantly camping, you can find spawn maps for all the bad guys, and it makes finding monsters for quests easier. What kind of good/bad effects do you think this will have on the game?

This sounds interesting. Let's say a certain quest requires you to gain knowledge of the planet and asks you to hunt certain creatures. Having searching far and wide I am sure you will gain some knowledge of the planet.

It is wonderful that camping is out of the question. But on the other hand, if you have to spend days riding the plains to find certain animals it might be a problem.

I think it's a great idea, not only will it make camping difficult if not impossible, but it will allow you to explore more of the world while doing quests.
Instead of just goin from point a to b, you'll actually have to explore and find what you're looking for. In my opinion a great addition.
