I'm 99% sure you have to ascend to get the second quest from Vanyi. I'm not positive about the first one with the serpent in the desert. But you have to complete that and one profession quest prior to Vanyi giving you the other quest.

sry, this is on though, i have ascended and have done 1 of the extra att. point quests that i got from vanyi in drknars, but i hear there is a second one, can someone pm me or repost to tell me where to get the second quest for extra att. points. i hear it is in the desert but i dont know exactly where, ty in advance!

I did first one for 15 points last night before I finished missions to even access ascension, but you do need ascension to open quest in droknars.
first one you have to find a snake guy who says you need to talk to another snake guy whose sat on top of a big rock, think you also have to cross this fallen stone statue type bridge to get there.
The quickest way to a man's heart really is through his stomach, because then you don't have to chop through that pesky rib cage.

lol ok i started this post and have seen the snake man but he said nothing to me and been to the statue and knocked it down to make bridge lol. but had not asended at that time, have done now and done the first bit been to the 3 towns, but not found any ghosts lol yet to talk to any one know where any are so as to do the 2nd pro bit many thanks.

ok ill tell you, go to desteny's gorge, there wll be a forgoten there, talk to him, he will tell you to go find someone in the desert, do that mission, and the guy you find will give you another mission telling you to find someone else, this si the mission that gives you the 15 points.

In destiny's Gorge there is a quest that will take you to the forgotten to get the quest for the first Attribute Quest.
Then in Droknar's Forge there is a woman (forgot the name-- i think someone already mentioned her though) She gives you the quest-- Oh and i think to get this quest unlocked you have to get a different subclass by doing at least one of the paths-- because i think shes the same person that tells you about going to the 3 places (Heroes Audiance, Destiny's Gorge and that other place i keep forgeting about....) If you complete it and you talk to her after that she says something like "You didnt even talk to the people there-- i would know if you had- you should go back there sometime and hear what they have to say..." (But i did talk to everyone-- i just didnt finish their quests till later :P)

You don't have to change subclass but I think you do have to complete the missions, I did all 3 missions from the ghosts last night and have now got second attribute mission. (didn't change subclass)

Ok, maybe superflous as all the information is allready above, but here goes:
15 Attribute quest sequence one:
Inside Destiny Gorge, talk to the Ghosts untill you get the Quest Forgotten Ones. Do that Quest (best start-off point is Augury Rock imo). Once you complete it, talk to the Lizzard once more to get the Quest that gives you the actual 15 Attribute Quest: Forgotten Wisdom. Complete that Quest to get those points.
15 Attribute Quest sequence two:
Inside Droknar's Forge, talk to Vanyi to get a Quest called "Heores Journey" involving visiting all three secondairy villages in the Dessert. Talk to the Ghosts there to get the 's Path Quests and do at least one of them. You do not need to switch secondairy profession to complete this. When you've done this, go back to Vanyi In Droknar's to get the actual 15 Attribute Point Quest, A "Heroes Challenge".
To do this you need to get to Copperhammer Mines. I start off from Iron Mines of Moladune for this.
P.s. Vanyi can be found near the Xunial Storage Agents in Droknar's Forge.

Yeah..to get Vanyi to open up for her 15 attribute quest i had to do 2 of the 2nd profession quests in desert.

ok thanks for all the help have done both now and when u get it right it is easy if u happen to have done little bits b4 hand like copperhammer and all the desert towns. the only hard bit i found was findin the dam ghost to send u on the quests. spent hrs lookin out side of towns cos everone saying talk to the forgotn one and he is se of the town. when all the time the very first person/ghost u want to talk to is the ones inside the town lol. after that it was easy cos i had been everwhere looking for them.

Yeah thanks from me as well. I have done the 2nd prof quests that I got from Vanyi and completed Heros Challenge but did not know of the one in the desert. I will be going back there to do that.

okay heres the finaly word on it. there is a quest in the desert called forgotton ones and after completing that you get 15 extra attribute points (you run around and talk to guys)(you have to do another quest before that though) the second is offered at the forge after you ascend (they are located near the arena) and that you go back to the desert and you do a seris of mission (they can also change you second proffesion) but you do have to complet all of them (kinda hard) after that you sould have all of the 200 attribute points. there i said it

You only have to do one (1) of the "change your secondary profession" quests in the Crystal Desert to get the quest from Vanyi. You do not have to be ascended to do the first attribute quest. You DO have to be ascended to do the second one, as you can't get the "change your secondary profession" quests until you are.

i dont know about vanyi, i've only been able to do her attribute quest once. All of my characters have ascended, but I was only able to get the quest with my E/N, dont know if it's a necro only quest or if there was something else i needed to do to get it.

There's a prerequisite mentioned a couple of times in the posts above yours, something you need to do in order to get the Heroes Challenge Quest, i.e. go to the three towns in the desert and complete atleast one {profession} Path Quest there.
Did you do any of these with your non-E/N character(s)? If not, do so and you'll be able to get the quest. If you're not sure, talk to Vanyi. If you haven't done a Path yet, she'll be kind enough to "hint" that you should :-)

I'm new here so be nice:p...anywayz,i reckon that the ascension bit should be made a bit simplier to follow as it does have a pointer to lead you to the three missions that you must do to reach ascension

yes, i have got that quest, completed it and also completed all of the spirit quests (except R and Mo). Still no vanyi quest.
though i'm still leaning toward a necro only thing because of the post above this, a r/n got it without problems.
