I was wondering, do you think acctual gambling would be a good idea? Like have a merchant where you could give him money and he would roll a number or something and you could win money/items, right now the only form of gambling we have besides going outside and using /roll # is buying un-id gold items, this is getting boring, I want like craps or poker dammit lol.

Gambling really has a negative effect when people lose repeatedly...Plus some people might develop a problem with gambling, go crazy etc.

hehe so, theres lots of people with to much cash on this game, I can lose 20k sometimes in a day on buying gold itmes for the chance of getting a good weap/rune or upgrade, I think it would be a good money sink for the rich

I think it's a great idea, but since the game is rated "T", they probably wouldnt be able to have simulated gambling, as in real life...well you know. Anyways I think it'd be a good idea.

i think the tos says you cannot engage in gambling as a player, if they won't let players do it, i doubt they would put a straight out option to do it in game.
but since the latest patch we do have a form of gambling alot like the slot machines of las vegas. keys and chests.
my experience is i pay more for the keys than i get from the chests so it reminds me alot of going to vegas. i've heard a few people saying how they have gotten great stuff, which just makes everyone else want to give it a shot.
so you wanted gambling and a money sink, poof there you go.
asked and received, they can check that requested feature off their list now. aren't you happy :)

A gambling feature of some sort would be great, it isn't supposed to be a way to waste money, its a way to get money. Right now, I barely have 300 gold, items are hard to come by for me >.< So if i have a good share of luck and skill at that type of game i could maybe make a few extra so i can get new armor etc.

you could try something I invented (to my knowledge, maybe someone else invented it first) which I call run gambling, usually my odds are at about 1.2k and get a gold item or 2. Also its somewhat fun. pm me for details

Come on! This is not sim-casino! lol This game is about adventures and chests and this is the way you earn money. Gambling is a different game, question of luck and normally it is a bad idea to trust in luck for earning money. Experience tells that in the end its not the player who wins (what sense would make to have a casino running anyway). The same way it would be in GW, a money sink. The chest thing I agree with. I have bought several keys, and haven't yet got any item that was better than the ones droping from lvl24+ monsters. I think its better value for money and time to farm with friends and then share the loot and distribute according what your needs are (i do it like that in my guild).
