Whats' your age and occupation?

In my travels thru Paragon City, the majority of people I meet are age 21+. Which is a nice break from other games that have mostly younger kids and teens, no offense to the young ones! It's just nice having others to relate to.

Anyway, I apologize if someone has already started a topic similar to this one.

Well, to start off, I'm 30 yrs old and I work for Bauer/Nike Hockey. I operate the Returns Dept. and I drive a lift truck on occasion to help out the warehouse. To all you hockey fans, thank god the NHL is back, WOO HOO! Also, Bauer is the greatest hockey brand on the market and it only gets better!

When you enter the Edit Info section on your profile, you should see a large box at the bottom for your Signature. That's the best place to list your characters.

Well...I'm 26, and I'm currently lazy. :P I got out of the Navy about 2 weeks ago. Until then, I was a Surface Warfare Officer. That basically means that I was on ships and I got to tell people what to do. Good times. :)

i'm... um... well... *sigh* 27..... and currently i'm doing telecommunications (NOT telemarketing)... basically i sell those nice little ads that everyone sees on their highschool sports posters (you know the big 2 foot by 3 foot wall posters that are hung in your high traffic area businesses?)... we do about 700 schools around the country, and i get to call the local businesses to see if they want to "help their local youth"

on the 28th of this month will be the 1st time i've ever worked anywhere for a full year (wooo hooo paid vacation!)

Im 22 years old and I work at Blockbuster. Im a manager there and I enjoy what I do, its not a career but for now it pays the bills.

you are right you do seem to get alot of older people playing this as opposed to kids, although in my travels i have found a few kids and some of them are very immature.

anyway im 21 live in the UK and for a year now i have been a croupier (thats a dealer in a casino).

Holy Crap....am I the youngest staff member? I am 23 and have currently been in the United States Navy for the last 4 years. I work as an Avionics Technician on SH-60F's and HH-60H. In laymans terms, I work on helicoptors by repairing computers and wires inside of them. I am also Landing Signalman qualified, which means I can direct a helicoptor that is trying to land or take off the deck. I have been deployed overseas on the USS Washington for a six month period (which thank god is over and in the past) That sums me up.

That's ok, govt...I think I'm the oldest staffer.

I'm 32 years old. I'm currently an unemployed bum, but before I was laid off and moved, I was a Trainer/Techncial Writer/Technician at Siemens Business Services working at Citizens Bank in Cranston RI.

im a 25 year old bum and trying to find a carrier. ive worked from one end of the chain to the other. Im actually trying to find a carrier that ill be happy to work at but the location that i live in is very light on the computer\network technician type jobs.

Just turned 20. I'm a college student at NC State University (majoring in Chemistry and Biochemistry by the way), and I have a job doing research on campus...I work on enzyme kinetics.........That's it.

well I've got you tied for youngest staffer.

23 and I'm currently unemployed but I'm a full time student going to college for Radiology. WHen I am working it's either as a Pharmacy tech (yep those folks that count your pills... I'm a drug dealer) OR as a GXMO... aka general x-ray machine operator... basically a chance to take x-rays before I have my degree to do it all alone. :)

I was an avionics technician on f-16s while I was in the Air Force. I got out in 97.

I am 31 and I am a district manager for ALLTEL in southeast GA.I have about 80 employees that work for me. I don't particularly like my job but it pays well.

Whew, thought I was going to be the oldest. I am 37, wife and 3 kids (not a lot of time for playing). I am an EDI Coordinator/Analyst with a Hardware Co-op. EDI - That stands for Electronic Data Interchange. Any documents (Invoice, Purchase Orders) that come in electronically, I write the programming that tells it where to go.
This of course has nothing to do with my degree in Psychology (long story), but it is a living.

Well, I'm 25, living in a smalltown in N.C. My current job (Not career, I Swear) is Shift Supervisor of a Fast Food resteraunt (KFC/TacoBell). I have about 20-30 people I can boss around and about 5 that can boss me around :P Currently it pays the bills and I'm saving up to move to back to Smithfield, NC to be closer to my "Biochemist" brother who goes to N.C. State (lets see if anyone catches on), and find a better job oppurtunity.

I have to say though that the KFC/Taco Bell is quite possibly the greatest combination of Fast Food Restaurants EVER. I mean, who wouldn't want those awesome Mashed Potatoes and Gravy with their Crunchwrap?!

Actually, while I was in college, I opened several Taco Bells in the New England area. I was a shift supervisor at the Fall River, MA one and then helped open various new stores in the area. Most of those were Pizza Hut/Taco Bells, though. Not nearly as good as the KFC combo.

Wow, out the replies so far, there is a good size military presence! What's wrong, you guys aren't satified with protecting the Country in your own way, that you gotta protect the game world as well! LOL

Well, all you do is appreciated, whether its wiring up consoles, fixing helos(Did I spell that right!?), or fighting on the front lines. I just wanna say thanks!

I forgot to add that I am married and my 2 yr anniv. is coming up Oct. 4. Also, my wife is 13 wks pregnant!

32 married with 1 son and a daughter to arrive next week. I was 1 of 80 people who just got laid off from TV Guide where I was a graphic designer(don't buy TV Guide). I will be going back to school in Jan. for nursing which will be my 3rd degree.

When my two year old son see's me playing CoH he nags me until I make my toon swim. He loves to watch it swim in the water.

Im a 24 yr old home makin' mommy of two. Which means I run around ALLLLL day chaseing oveactive children, put out fires, wipe noses, change dipers, break up fights, put kids off the chandalers, cook eighteen meals a day, wash faces, ect. Well I also find time to play a little CoH on the side.

Starting to feel a little out of my element. I'm 51 years old, run the computer department for a city in south Florida, and was also in the Navy as an antisubmarine warfare operator. That's a brown shoe rate for all you "boat" guys. P3 squadron; got out 28 years ago this Christmas. Got kids from 22-29 years old, who also play, along with my wife who is really young (please tell her I said that). We've spent more family time together since starting COH back in May than we have in years. Want to thank all you staffers for the fine job you do. I spend almost as much time looking at these posts as I do in game. Guess you could say that I have become addicted. Course it keeps me out of trouble with everyone except my wife. I think she just doesn't like the fact that I stay at least 1 or 2 levels above her. Anyway, thanks for excellent job that you do. If the devs did as good as you guys there wouldn't be enough servers for all the players.

I just turned 22 years old (Sept. 7). I'm currently a 5th year student (a "super-senior" if you will) at Sacred Heart Univerity in Fairfield, CT. When I'm not falling asleep in class or stuck in the Media Studies Dept with my work study or internship (Assistant to a Prof and Computer Lab Assistant), I'm back in my apt playing City of Heroes. Oh, and I live in a small town Hunterdon County, NJ when I'm not at school. Hopefully I'll be working with WWE or ESPN soon making video compilations ("music videos"). Let's see how it works out. Or maybe I'll just spend my time wandering through Rhode Island looking for Paragon City.......

First off daggar, never feel out of your element. It is proven that to be a kid at heart means to live longer and still have a grasp on what us young "whippersnappers" are up to due to your coolness at playing a game that branches the age difference. Second off, thanks for doing your time plus some in the Navy. Third off...I have to say that I think its pretty darn cool to have a person of your age and wisdom playing a game that I play. My dad is 51 years old also, and I wish that he would join me in the game at some point (he's more into strategy games). Last but not least...thanks for the vote of confidence.
