Please note, everyone: According to the non-disclosure agreement that you agree to when you enter Closed Beta on CoV, you really can't discuss anything that's actually IN the game. You can talk about things like powersets that were publically released, but as I understand it, you cannot even let people know that you're IN the beta program.

So be very very careful if you ARE playing in the beta test program so that you don't breach that agreement. Most companies are VERY serious about this.

No you can tell people you are in beta but they HIGHLY recommend you dont say you are! For they think telling people may make you mouthy and want to release info thus giving yourself some sorta headache.

Grif has a good point, while you are allowed to disclose that you are in the Beta it is not recomended, we all know those friends that'll weasel info out of you "I promise I won't tell anyone" next week it's on the cover of some sleazy tabloid.

What that's never happened to anyone else?

In all seriousness, while we'd all like to know all the goodies that are to come in CoV we don't want anyone to jeapordize their spot, as Cryptic has said that if they will remove violators from Beta.

But it's ok you can tell me... I promise I won't tell anyone. ;)

Ok so you want to know about CoV huh, lets me see what I can do! Ok I`got it....I will tell you about the beginning levels and such. But will use the word Bunny to describe everything.

So you start out in Bunny and you are instructed to go talk to Bunny. After a brief introduction Bunny tells you what Bunnies you can choose from. There are Bunnies to Bunny from so after reading over you head out to Bunny. The Bunny is very easy and takes only a matter of minutes. After Bunny you head back to Bunny and then get the next Bunny. You do this a couple of more times with differ Bunnies till the last Bunny says go to this Bunny and you will get Bunny. That Bunny was very easy and then you get taken to Bunny.

Now that is just the Bunny. I never talked about powers which are very cool. I made a Bunny/Bunny and he kicked arse. I could use my Bunny attack which really did the job against those Bunnies. Now you have to remember when making a Bunny/Bunny it is key to remember how many Bunnies you will face and if that Bunny will work. I think that most people will 1st go choose Bunny/Bunny because it so cool.

Well I`hope that sufficed and calmed your itch for news about CoV. Maybe later I can give you some more info about Bunny/Bunny and what Bunnies you can use them on!

I'm in the same boat. More than likely the pre-release people won't get it until just before release. On the plus side though, we'll be able to start playing 2 days before the release on the live servers.

So there appears to be an open beta stress test weekend going on the 14-16? Does anyone know if this has anything to do with the pre-order betas? It looks like you need to subscribe to FilePlanet to get a chance to play this weekend, but I'd like to avoid another cost if the pre-order beta is coming up soon as well.

I wouldn't be too concerned. With the vast amount of people that will be playing this weekend from the "stress test" you're going to get all sorts of disconnects and lag. It's not going to be worth playing. Be patient. The "2 day headstart" is practically here anyway, so the pre-order beta slots should be coming fairly soon.

I wouldn't even bother updating your sig. Once the live servers go up, your characters are getting wiped, I think. I *know* you won't be able to take the beta characters to live, I think you won't even be able to keep them on the test server.

I would imagine so, since if you couldn't it wouldn't really be a headstart- instead it would be a preview or something like that.

Yeah. The toons you create during the 2 day headstart will be on live servers and will keep. It's the ones you create in Beta that you won't be able to.
