rule 5. When communicating in Guild Wars using Global Chat (including, without limitation, server wide chat and use of the whisper command), you may not spam, flood, or make duplicate posts. For more information, please see the User Agreement section 4 (j).
i think ive seen that rule broken more than once..

lol definately, i even turn of the trade channel and i still get sooo many people spamming what they are selling in global! wtf? thats whtat the trade channel is FOR!
ok for sum reason i guess i got -5 cred for this post. Im still not used to the whole credibility thing. can someone tell why it was rated for -5?

Sometimes insensitive jerks think it would be a great idea if they downed a few credits because who cares about credits anyway?
The answer is, people who worked hard to earn their credibility. I didn't get into first place by bragging how much better than everybody I am (not that I'm saying I am, but you get what I mean) or by bashing everybody else's posts. I didn't gain the respect of my most awesome peers of the site by sending intentionally annoying post spamming like that guy above.
Sorry I had to vent I'll probably lose a few credit for that but it has to be said. Some might try to call me vainglorious, but I'm not. Matter of a fact I've been extra careful ever since hitting first place in credit rankings to not seem self-righteous. A "lowly newbie" with no credit yet could say something and if I said it I would sound full of myself.

Oh well nevermind this guy isn't all bad after all he's a pretty decent fellow (just don't spam us again, sorry about the comment)

Ummmm....actually, most of my posts are serious and carefully thought out. My spamming posts above were intended to be a joke on the topic of this thread, and not to be 'annoying'. Geez, you make one joke on this forum and someone calls you annoying. I'm taking my toys and going home, neoelasticman. =(

Question: Has anyone else ever been tempted to just start asking for parties over the trade channel?
In LA (Lion's Arch) for example it's a very, very quiet channel. You could have nice private chats there :)
