What would clans like?

What is it clans want now a days in gaming? Is it better leagues, better scrim management systems, better communication, better maps, what? I'm sure there's always a way to make a clan 10x happier then they already are(without handing over $50,000 for nothing :P). So give a response to what it is you clans want out of the community, remember the good saying- if you don't say what you want, don't expect to be given it.

You ever have those days that you know?

Re: What would clans like?

First beeeing a clan member means having a close virtual friendship with your teammates, and in a server you can play togeher for fun without allowing others or you can challenge the other team in TDM for friendly/unfrienly battle.

Clans those own money by gaming are other stuff, they consist from good players and all of them are similar skilled, but this goes more for tournaments and moneys, fame, what is another thing than just a friendly clan of people who have known each other through gaming sites.

Usulay serious clans those play for fame consist from players those know each other and live in one city.

I myself have registered in darkscorner.de and we have a friendly clan, that is not interested for winning TDM in CPL or owning money from matches, but rather than to have a good time.

RE: What would clans like?

i wouldn't actully mind a better demo recoding, cause at the moment pcf inbulit one isn't the best

if something like MVD could be put in that would be wicked

MVD is a specail type of demo used in q3 ufreeze called a multiveiw demo
this lets you veiw any one in the game go free roam and bring up extra windows with player veiw points on them

RE: What would clans like?

Painkiller is an excelent game in terms of speed, skill and for spectators.

However it suffers huge disadvantages if we speak about game bugs and flaws and of course the tirrible netcode.

One of the bigest flaws, indeed, as you said, is the demo recording, since in the latest PK version you can not see the HUD, and the demoplay is bad itself.

Version 1.35 - the last non BooH version does not have this penalty.

RE: What would clans like?

is there any sort of mod like DeFrag for quake3

DeFrag was good for recamming footage, and a mod that allowed mod support for demos recoreded in pk, pk++ and other mods and very handy recamming
