hum...am I the only one who deeply hate it? it just look like tokyo or time square (flashy fluorescent colors)... Everything is just way more complicated and it oppens a new window. I know it's supposed to help peeps who use different sections of gameamp but hum... I just don't think it worths it.

nope you aint alone mephy, i too think it looks awfully cheap, the old version was much better and easier to manage

I deeply hate how it looks and it lost track of all my posts except the 9 oldest ones. It looks like a pre-made template made for a las vegas advertissement and on top of having it open in a new window if you click a link oftentimes it will open a new windows over the 2 previous already open..... Need some tweaking, I guess.

Ehm, I'm still out on it.
I don't mind the new-window as my Firefox is configured to put it in another tab (in the backgroud).
I like the 'Handle' thingy as it allows me to put up a little showcase of my characters.
The Posts segment doesn't seem to have all my posts in there for some reason. I used that to keep track of threads I'm involved in. Now I've fallen back on bookmarking them.
Don't like the colorscheme much either, but it's bearable.
Oh, and now I get a warning that my images should be 300KB or less three times in a row instead of that it should be 0KB or less three times in a rwo. So that's progress imo ;-)
Still confused by the triplicate part though.

That might be because it's not called "Edit Profile" anymore.
You have to click on "Account Information" now, then the page will reload with editable data fields in the lower right.
"Manage History" allows you to create 'Handles' if you like.

The forum post issue is fixed. The new window will stay as a new window so you don't loose track of where you were. For instance if you're in a forum thread and you want to view someone's profile you shouldn't have to leave the site in order to do so.
Oh and it's not a premade template and the design has to reflect video games as a whole, not just one in specific. Been to other major game sites lately (GameSpot, *cough*) ;)

Well, I signed up on the site after the new one was already implemented, so I have nothing to compare it to. My only gripe with it is that the naming used for some of the items is kinda vauge. For instance, Game History, it took me a I now know that this is where I go to put in my handles for games that I play, but before I learned it I had to search a few times to remember where I saw it before.
Overall, I don't think it's half bad. Keep up the good work. :-)
