New Computer 

Hey..
Well im getting a new comp in like a month or two here so i was just wanting form ppl to tell me some good shit i can put in it like really good shit i will be using this comp for video editing and animation (NO GAMMING)

Plz somwhere in the area of $5,000

Motherboard=Asus or Intel
Cpu=Intel (1200FSB) 2Mb Cache (LGA775)(p4- xeon) (3.4-3.8Ghx)
Ram=Corsair Twinx 4gb (pc4200) (ddr2)
Psu=600w-700w
Vid Card= ATI Radeon (Pci E) (256mb) really new
dvd-rw somthing really good
case= 21'' can hold quite alot of fans

(plz make sure everything is supported)

you stated xeon, brings up some questions

1. xeons should be ddr1, desktop is ddr2
2. xeons are work station grade, and often go with firegl (ati) and not the normal branch of cards.

So is this for work, or games? Once I know that I can make a recomendation. You say work but that ram pick isn't really for it.

Also intel makes good mobo chipsets, but their mobos are lacking outside of the workstation section, and ASUS isn't that good. They are stable, and full of features but not as quick/tweakable as other makers in the same area. Tyan makes the best xeon boards for intel, and abit/gigabyte make the best desktop mobos.
