| Ok how do i get decent ranger armour? |

im lvl 5 pre searing, i have some scaled an 6 tanned hides an about 8 iron ingots an 4 gp...
i want something better than leather......

U cant get good ranger armour untill you go post searing. in ascalon there is an armour dude who crafts fur linned armour and leather armour and all the various masks. When u get to the shiverpeaks there is drakescale armour, and im afraid i dont know after that, i havent been anyfurther with a ranger.
the fur linned armour (of the best kind) costs 150g a piece and requires fur squares and tanned hide squares. it is 40 armour and has bonuses against cold attacks, perfect for farming in the shiver peaks! hope this helps

In presearing there are only two possible. The armor you get when you start and some upgrade armor you get from collectors. I'm going off memory but you get gloves I think from the collector next to foibles fair for some icy loadstones. I never seem to get those when i farm the mountian, so i usually buy them from ppl in foibles fair. The coat/top I you can get from the collector at the entrance to Regent Valley for some Grawl Necklaces. The bottoms/pants I got from Ft. Ranik for some spider legs. There are two collectors there. You may be able to get the top there also, not sure. The boots you either get at Ft Ranik for some seeds or spider legs, or you get from the guy outside Ashford Abby. He'll want some items the worms drop. The seeds are easiest to farm right outside the Ascalon gate. You can get a good Bow from the collector that is right next to Ranger Nente, at the area you get your pet in Regent Valley. He'll want some dull carapices that the devourers drop or something similer. Thats easy because there are devourers everywhere there. I hope this helps, sorry I couldnt be more specific at this time.

Oh, and one more thing, the fur armor may have a little extra for cold damage but you end up looking like some sort of vegas drag show act. Just get something that looks good and dont warry about it. They are mostly the same. When you postsear see corwin in asclon by the bonfire. Then your upgrade opportunities come in various places throughout the game. The nicest and most expensive is the Citadel and Marhans Grotto, but thats not twords the end of the game. Like the man said you can get just as good but not as nice looking from Droknars Forge. As Far asc money just fam for it. Go out and kill and then sell. Some more rare items sell to other players. others just sell to merchants. The catacombs is a good spot for goods in presearing. FOR YOUR QUICK MONEY JUST PLAY ALLOT AND FINDT STUFF AND THAN SELL IT THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO

Actually, I think the first crafter that offers drakescale is in Lion's Arch.

You may be right. I though I had gotten it in Yaks Bend. I'll have to check.
