PVE Ranger/Worrior build v1.1

I havent been playing guild wars for awile so i may be a little wrong.
Enyway this is my build tell me what you think.
PVE Ranger/worrior
10 beast mastery
10 wilderness servival
10 Markmenship

Skills:
Charm Animal
Revive Animal
Call of brutality
Barrage
Penitrating attack
Symbiosis
Apply Poison
Frenzy

The Key to this build is to keep your animal alive while you tear appart you enemy from afar.

I don't know if its different for rangers, but I never, ever use frenzy... unless I pack it to kill my doppelganger. Taking double damage is not something I want to do for any amount of seconds.

If Frenzy is all you use of the Warrior's profession, you might consider looking for another 2nd profession (if that's an option).
The Ranger profession offers you the same option Frenzy does, but without that particular drawback.
Take a look at these:

Strider's Reflexes
For the next 8+ seconds, you have a 75% chance to "Evade" attacks and move 33% faster than normal. Strider's Reflexes ends if damage drops your health below 50%.

Lightning Reflexes
For 5-10 seconds, you have a 75% chance to evade melee and arrow attacks, and you attack 33% faster.

They do cost more and have longer recharge times though.
Another way to speed up your attacks, slightly less faster, but also with less micro-management is:

Favorable Winds
Create a level 1-8 Spirit. For creatures within its range, arrows move twice as fast as normal and strike for +3 damage. This Spirit dies after 30-126 seconds.

MMORPG (Roleplaying): Mostly Men Online Role-Playing Girls
MMORPG (Acheivement): Miserable Malcontents Online Rehashing Past Glories
MMORPG (PvP): Macho Men Obviously Really Prefer Griefing
MMORPG (itemization): Misers May Obfuscate Recently Purchased Gold
MMORPG (Social): Virtual Worlds with Virtual Wealth and achievements, but with Real People with Real Feelings.

Hate to sound like a noob, but go figure, I AM new here. :P
I noticed that something like Strider's Reflexes and other animal 'Calls' were listed in the GW Skills list on this site. However, they're nowhere to be found in the game... I've even checked the guy at Ember Light Camp and he doesn't seem to have them. Are they just not implemented yet, or what?

you get different skills all over the game.... you get 8 before there searing..usually, basicly depends on char type and then you have to search all around the map for them.[SIZE=1][/SIZE]

Um... well... how do I say this. That doesn't really work for me as an answer. Not to brag or anything (as if we wanted to play a superiority game, there are about 10000000000 other people who can beat me at that, and that's not why I play this game anyway), but I have about 90% + of all the skills listed in every other FAQ or guide... I've played through all the missions and capped the majority of elite skills as well, and STILL I haven't seen some of the ones listed in this site's Skill Database.
Let me post some...

Call of Healing
For the next 60 seconds, your animal companions have 1/16 base damage reduction and regenerate 1/6 health each second.

Call of Resilience
You purge your animal companions of all Hexes and Conditions.

Call of Vitality
For the next 60 seconds, your animal companions have 1/16 base damage reduction and +50/+232 health.

Bow Parry
For the next 5+ seconds, you have 75% chance chance to "parry" melee attacks against you. Bow Parry ends if you attack or use a skill.

What's funny is that some of these skills, such as 'Bow Parry', seem to have the same icons as other skills that REALLY exist in the game, like Whirling Defense.

If anyone has solid proof as to where I can buy (via skill trader) or earn via quest / etc these Ranger skills, I'd really like to know.

call of haste is in yaks ben (captain Osric)
call of protection is in Loins arch (firstwatch sergio)
and ember light camp has all skills

instead of frenzy use tigers fury it does the exact same effects witout the double dmg and can be constantly on becuase if u have enough attributes in beast mastery then it lasts for 10 seconds and its recharge is 10 seconds

I have Call of Haste and Call of Protection, and I have all the skills I need from Ember Light Camp. Have you actually seen, any of the skills I listed in this post *in game*? If so please let me know.

I agree. Tiger's Fury is the way to go if you need increased attack speed.

Skills like Call of Brutality and such are leftovers from Beta I believe. They were taken out of the game for the final release of GW.

I must've missed this thread or I would've mentioned this sooner. I've been trying to get NCSoft to give me a definitive answer on these, and some more, Ranger skills. So far they've come back with the suggestion I browse the fansites for information on this...

So now the Ranger Skill set has several skills listed as "Beta only" for accuracy.

If you come across other discrepancies of this order in the Skill or Armor segments, PM me about it so I can make similar changes as needed.
