Yeah, there are plenty of cheaters out there but most of who I play with are just guys wanting to have fun. Stat padders are being sought out and their clans/names being put up on forums such as on TotalBF2.com. And EA has been trying to police things a bit (not enough but they do try). Just remember to report suckers in game and then post the jerks on all the forums you can.

Some one should hack into the site and lay the thing flat so no-one can dee that shit.
It pisses me off that people come into the game and ruin it for others; I dont know if I am the only one but I have noticed a large increase in people cheating in game since early december 2005 and I have seem too many noobs that play on my servers come into the game and in about a week they have the same rank I do.
I am lost as how to combat this problem since I cant get any proof that they are cheating and PB aint working fast enough to keep these F...heads out.
I have recently witnessed a group of players useing a hack or something that every time you shoot and kill one of them you get a team kill or damage so I logged into BF2CC to see if they were on my team and no the were not.
How is a person meant to play when you cant rely on what you see in game?
If anyone have any ideas please share them.

There is a name bug in the game that is not a hack. Somtimes a teamate will appear as a red name. If you shoot them it will still consider it a TK.
As far as people advancing rank quickly. Patch 1. 03 reduced the cost of rank advancement so ppl will catch up to you quicker than you initially advanced. Slows back down around Master Seargent.

I know about the bug were some times you see a team mate show up as red but this was not the case I wish it was that.
Anyway I am sure that EA are working on most of these problems and will have them fixed ASAP.

I used to love playing BF2 and earning my stripes, now I walk around with a knife because its about as much use to me as my gun. Thanks to aimbots being everywhere I get knocked off every 30 secs sometimes 2 secs after I respawn. If its not bad enough them using it, they then camp outside each camp and shoot you with one shot as you respawn. IT SUX
