I would recommend instead:
E/Me
12 + 1 Energy Storage
12 + 3 + 1 Fire Magic
3 Water Magic
1 Immolate
2 Incendiary Bonds
3 Searing Heat
4 Glyph of Energy (E)
5 Meteor Shower
6 Arcane Echo
7 Maelstrom
8 Resurrection Signet
Keeps mobs in fire and on their bellies, and shuts down casters. For fire resistant monsters get a ranger to bring Winter with him.

if you are going to be using channeling, why dont you use phoenix? since it does exrta dmg to ppl close to you.
