| WONT GET PROMOTED PLZ HELP |

Hey guys, I just got patch 1.03 for BF2 and was promoted the mastersergeant. Now on the website www.totalbf2.com it tells you everything you need to get promoted to 1st sergeant which is. basic knife, basic pistol, basic assault, basic anti-tank, basic sniper, basic spec ops, basic support, basic medic and basic engineer...well i have all of these badges and it still isnt promoting me to 1st sergeant. i was wonderin if anybody out there could help me out (btw yes im playing in ranked servers) if youve made 1st sergeant if you could tell me what you got to get it id be very thankful. thanks to anybody who offers advice.

One of my clan members has the same problem. Has the proper prerequisits but isn't getting awarded the 1st Sgt. rank. No solution as yet, I hope someone here finds one.

Good question,
If you are in a BF2 Ranked server and the port does not start with 69., then its not a EA official rented server. EA rented servers are the first on the list for everything therefore there server are updated first, if you simply go into a EA Ranked server and make a "healing point," your ranked will go up, if you make another rank point your rank will go up etc. I had members stay in our server for over 5 hours and then it was reported... You get the idea.
The solution is to go into a ranked EA server and stick around for a few minutes, wait until the map changes and then close and re-open your BF2.exe. You should be able to unlock your amount of weapons.
